The New Leader Program aims to explore the development of new and flexible skills that drive greater success and strengthen one’s position, now or in the future, as a memorable inspiring and authentic leader.

Leadership is both a quality and a skill that can be developed. There is not one style of leadership that is the ultimate template for corporate success. The New Leader Program acknowledges the individualism possible in today’s model for successful leadership.

The New Leader Program provides women with the motivation and confidence to seek leadership roles and back themselves as real candidates for leadership opportunities.

Technical ability and IQ are important, but research increasingly indicate that one of the most critical skills required in today’s workplace is emotional intelligence. In this program we start with self-awareness as a cornerstone of emotional intelligence.

Participants will walk away with renewed confidence in their leadership skills and strategies.

  • Managing difficult people & conflict resolution
  • Personal presence and the ‘X’ Factor - Stage 2 - presentation practice, critique and individual coaching.

Important Information

The Property Council of Australia is a COVID safe organisation. The safety of our guests, speakers and staff is our top priority. Our face-to-face events will run in compliance with WA Government’s health orders in effect at the time. To enhance the safety of everyone in attendance, as of 31st January, only double vaccinated guests will be able to attend and we appreciate your cooperation with this requirement.

If the WA Government requirements change in advance of any event, we will contact you and update you about your attendance. If you already hold a ticket and are no longer able to attend because of vaccination or other requirements, please contact the WA Events Team as soon as possible to discuss options. If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, you are entitled to a full refund of your ticket price.

Showing proof of double vaccination and checking in via the SafeWA or ServiceWA app is required at the venue. Please ensure you are prepared with either a digital copy or a printed copy of your COVID-19 vaccine certificate for entry. Please visit WA Government website on how to get a copy of your vaccine certificate.


Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be requested in writing however no refunds will be given to cancellations made less than five (5) business days prior to the event as catering arrangements have already been confirmed. We are happy to accept a replacement at no additional cost.

Terms and conditions

The Property Council of Australia is a COVID safe organisation. The safety of our guests, speakers and staff is our top priority. This event will be run in compliance with the applicable governmental health orders, safety requirements in place at the venue and in accordance with the Property Council’s own COVID safety plans. These are all constantly under review and may change as circumstances change throughout the pandemic. If the requirements or the Property Council’s policies change in advance of the event, we will contact you and update you about your attendance and options available to you. If the event is cancelled or postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions, you are entitled to a full refund of your ticket price. Registrations are for individual delegates only and cannot be split or shared between multiple people. Payment is required prior to the event. The Property Council of Australia reserves the right to alter speaker/s or program of events or cancel the event in its entirety. The Property Council of Australia reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove from the premises any person who it considers (in their sole and absolute discretion) is causing annoyance. Your registration is accepted on the basis of these conditions. The collection of individual registration details is primarily so that we can register you and your colleagues for the event. The information will be stored in the Property Council’s database and may be used for future marketing of Property Council events and may also be provided to the event sponsors. If you do not wish your details to be made available to external parties, we ask that you notify us by a written request to the Property Council Database Manager. Property Council often undertakes or facilitates photography and/or video at our events and conferences. These images and footage may be used in future promotions that include but are not limited to website, direct mail, marketing collateral, email, sales documents and other uses by Property Council of Australia. Should a registered participant seek to be excluded from such future uses of images, you must register your request with a Property Council staff member on the day of the designated event. No further correspondence or permissions will alternatively be sought.
