NEW DATE ANNOUNCED
HOW CAN WE CREATE CHANGE IN ONE GENERATION?
The Property Council of Australia and NAWIC present a trailblazer with an original take on leadership. Shelley Cable was just 24 years old when she was appointed CEO of Generation One at the Minderoo Foundation. Since then, Shelley has championed employment parity, with and for Indigenous Australians, in one generation. A proud Wilman-Nyoongar woman, Shelley has presented to the United Nations on financial empowerment of Indigenous people, was a delegate to the Uluru Convention on Constitutional Reform and is one of just 75 Indigenous accountants in Australia. Shelley is often the youngest person in the room, one of the only females and almost always the only Noongar woman – and her perspective allows her to look at diversity through a unique lens.
Is there a secret to ending economic disparity? Is financial literacy a vital leadership tool? And is visible leadership the most valuable leadership? These are just some of the questions Shelley will answer.
SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER

Just as Shelley Cable inspires with her vision to solve disparity in a generation, our powerful panel will apply their insights to our ambitious diversity agenda. Our panel speakers will reflect on the road travelled so far and the next steps we must take together to build a stronger, more diverse property industry. You won’t want to miss the pinnacle of the Property Council’s diversity calendar, the Women in Property Signature Lunch.
