The Property Council of Australia's Diversity and Inclusion Committee, in collaboration with Queers in Property proudly invite all members of the industry for a tour of the Victorian Pride Centre (VPC).

Join us as we discover what it really means to design, build and program spaces with inclusion, as we tour Australia's first purpose build LGBTQIA+ community centre located in St Kilda. 

Completed in 2021, VPC is a symbolic and safe space for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and features a range of inclusive design considerations covering accessibility, gender identity, and reconciliation. 

This event also marks the important celebration and recognition of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia & Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) on 17th May. This day celebrates LGBTQIA+ people globally and raises awareness for the work needed to combat discrimination.

As it reads in traditional Woi Wurrung language when you enter the Victorian Pride Centre "wominjeka - come with purpose."
