The home of Western Sydney’s Nancy Bird Walton Airport
and the Bradfield City Centre, Liverpool City Council is a city with a vision
and passion for its future.
Dr Eddie Jackson was appointed to the role of Chief
Executive Officer of Liverpool City Council in November last year. Since then
he has redoubled the council’s efforts to transform the city for the better,
with work commencing on Council’s ambitious commercial redevelopment of Civic
Place, and reinvigorated advocacy for public and private sector investment in the
health and education precinct, and city-shaping transport infrastructure such
as the Fifteenth Avenue Smart Transit (FAST) link to the Airport.
In this Member Briefing, we will hear from Dr Jackson and
his team on their plans for Liverpool’s future, and what role the property
industry can play in helping the city reach its future aspirations.
