Notes

Housing affordability and supply has been a critical issue in the Illawarra Shoalhaven for some time, with COVID-19 and population migration just accelerating these challenges even further for our region.

There is now an even greater urgency for strong policy levers to be implemented to make housing more accessible, with many regional areas unequipped to meet future housing needs of their local communities.

Now, the NSW Government’s Regional Housing Taskforce has been tasked with leading the response to the regional housing crisis and understanding the barriers to planning and delivering housing in regional areas.

Join us at our End of Year Event to hear from Regional Housing Taskforce Chair, Garry Fielding on the Taskforce’s findings and their recommendations to government. This keynote will then be followed by a panel of local experts in the industry discussing our own unique challenges and how we can put these recommendations into practice.

This is an exclusive opportunity not to be missed and the perfect way to network with your colleagues after the year that was!
