Australia is committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050 and
NSW is leading the charge with an ambitious target to halve the state’s
emissions by 2030. Australia’s buildings account for almost a quarter of our
emissions and present some of the lowest cost abatement opportunities but the
solutions are complex and require public policy leadership and learning lessons
from our international peers.
The Property Council and our event partner, Energy Efficiency Council, are delighted to host an all-star event to explore the solutions needed to take NSW buildings to net zero, building on the advocacy platform Every Building Counts. Join us to hear from The Hon Matt Kean MP, Treasurer and Minister for Energy, and international guests Carsten Muller, German Parliamentarian and Chair of DENEFF and Adrian Joyce, Campaign Director of Renovate Europe, as we unpack lessons from Europe to renovate Australia.
