As a Psychology Graduate, Emma was a somewhat unusual candidate for a career in property and infrastructure. However, while working in community engagement for infrastructure projects throughout her studies, Emma enjoyed the synergies between her degree and her day-job, primarily learning the power of communication to reach positive solutions for people and their communities. Emma now provides communications for the infrastructure department of one of Australia’s most prestigious Universities. On top of her day-job, Emma has passionately involved herself in establishing a Diversity and Inclusion Committee within her Department. As Marketing Manager of the Committee, she has taken the opportunity to engage her colleagues on topics such as cultural diversity, and increasing women in leadership roles. After receiving a scholarship from the University of Sydney, Emma is now studying a Masters of Project Management and hopes to grow her career in the property and development sector.
