The Retirement Living Council is the national leadership group of the retirement living sector, championing policies that deliver more senior Australians age-friendly homes and services in retirement communities. The Council is the most powerful voice of the sector, harnessing the expertise of both not for profit and commercial village owners and developers.

The RLC is a dedicated national division of the Property Council of Australia, focused on retirement villages and seniors housing.

Our members determine the sector’s national priorities and set the advocacy agenda, which includes unlocking age pensioners’ home equity to allow them to downsize without penalty, improving the planning treatment of retirement villages and promoting the independently proven benefits of retirement village living.

As part of this promotion, the RLC maintains a dedicated website to explain retirement villages and the services they offer – visit awisemove.com.au
