Victoria Park: Have your say on the Draft Vision
Brisbane City Council has released the draft masterplan for the redevelopment of Victoria Park and invites the community to respond through an online survey.
Brisbane City Council has previously sought community input in providing ideas to help build the Victoria Park masterplan and ensure the park has something for everyone.
The redevelopment is a repurposing of the 18-hole golf course into public greenspace. The master plan includes mountain bike tracks, high ropes courses, a skate park, a canopy walk, a tree house and a vegetable patch. The park will retain the popular driving range, putt-putt course and function centre.
The Property Council has previously written to the Lord Mayor commending Brisbane City Council for the vision and initiative shown in developing the largest park created in Brisbane in the last 50 years.
The Property Council iterated that thorough consultation would be crucial in ensuring Victoria Park is best positioned to service the needs of the community.
The Property Council looks forward to continuing to work with the Brisbane City Council in developing Victoria Park.
