The Property Council welcomed a record crowd of over 1,700 property professionals and raised over $62,000 for Act for Kids at our Annual Christmas Lunch on Friday 6 December.

The Property Council’s Annual Christmas Lunch was a phenomenal success with over 1,700 attendees coming together at the Royal International Convention Centre to celebrate the year that has passed, and the many accomplishments achieved by the industry.

Guests enjoyed a fantastic performance from renowned comedian, Cal Wilson, over lunch. During the event, attendees heard from the Property Industry Foundation and Act for Kids and raised an incredible $62,719.00 – beating last year’s effort by almost ten thousand dollars.

The Property Council awarded Mark Burow an honorary life membership with the organisation. Honorary life membership is reserved for a select group of individuals who have made a long-term contribution to the organisation.

Following formalities, the celebrations continued at the official afterparty fiesta at Welcome to Bowen Hills, with food and beverage pop-ups, and live entertainment.

The Property Council would like to thank everyone for their generosity at the event, the incredible donations raised will make a significant difference to the lives of many children.

We would also like to thank our event sponsor, Rider Levett Bucknall and after party sponsor, Buildcorp Group.

The Property Council wishes all its members and supporters a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
