NSW Housing Analysis Report

We have commissioned research and analysis in the housing supply, demand and population trends across NSW, with a focus on Greater Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast and Illawarra-Shoalhaven regions. The research maps the actual and projected housing supply against demand and population trends to demonstrate housing supply requires turbocharging to meet the demands of the people of NSW. The impacts of the pandemic on these trends are outlined at the end of these reports. The predominant source of data for these figures and trends is NSW Government’s own data and analysis.
