Brigid Salter

Brigid is an award winning Senior Interior Designer at design practice Hames Sharley. For over 10 years, Brigid has successful lead projects from inception to completion, engaging with a board range of clients and stakeholders. She has worked on various commercial, education, hospitality, residential and health projects within Australia and Ireland. A highlight in her career was leading the interior team over a 5-year period in the design and delivery of the $110m Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research at the QEII Health Campus in Nedlands. A ten-storey, 20,000m² facility, the Perkins Institute is an exemplar in the complex synergy of academic workplaces and medical laboratories – recognised in being awarded the Jeffery Howlett Award for Public Architecture and a WA Architecture Award for Interior Architecture in 2014.
