Amy Mitchell, Principal Lease Manager - Department of Housing and Public Works

Amy Mitchell

Amy has over 14 years’ experience in the Australian and international residential and commercial property markets. Having managed a large residential portfolio and corporate real estate for major corporations, both Federal and State Government departments. Amy currently works for the Queensland Government, Department of Housing and Public Works, as Principal Lease Manager within the Queensland Government Accommodation Office (QGAO). QGAO manages the largest office accommodation portfolio in Queensland, accommodating more than 60,000 public servants. Amy works across CBD and regional projects for QGAO, specialising in the strategy and negotiation of commercial office requirements. More recently she has been part of the team working on the “Brisbane CBD and Fringe Office Accommodation Strategy 2015-2025” in its first phase will see the biggest office move in Australian history. Amy is studying for a Bachelor of Property Economics at QUT.
