Alix Smith, Architect - Hassell Ltd

Alix Smith

Alix is an Architect at HASSELL with a wide range of experience. She has undertaken the role of design lead of a large team for the design and delivery of 4 train stations as part of the Level Crossing Removal authority, presenting to and liaising directly with key stakeholders. Prior to this she undertook the design and delivery of a new building to house the influx of international media for the Australian Open. Prior to her time at HASSELL she worked in various architecture firms, as well as establishing a private design practice and engaging in architectural education through tutoring at the University of Melbourne. Alix has experience across various sectors, including infrastructure, commercial, residential, cultural, hospitality and retail and has been involved in the design of a number of significant design projects, ranging from a mixed used commercial tower in Singapore to the design of a temporary greenhouse cafe.
