Genevieve Kenyon-Slade

Genevieve is an enthusiastic feminist; passionate about construction and sustainability. She has a Bachelor of Building and Construction Management with a second major in Quantity Surveying. Genevieve started her career with a 6 month internship at Fulton Hogan working on an incrementally launched bridge, after which she worked with a small commercial builder on a variety of community spaces including Manuka Oval for the Cricket World Cup, the refurbishment of Lakeside Leisure Centre and other community sporting facilities. She spent some time working for Estate and Facilities at the University of Canberra and is now a site engineer with Construction Control. She undertakes new challenges every day and strives to always improve and learn. Genevieve's goal is to build up a property portfolio to allow her financial freedom from work, allowing her to continue doing what she loves while focusing more on supporting and promoting equality and sustainability in construction.
